2018-2019 Applied Christian Theology Course

A 10-month Advanced Discipleship Course Exploring...
LOVE, THE UNIVERSE, AND EVERYTHING

Our third annual Applied Christian Theology (ACT!) course will begin on September 18, 2018 and continue through June, 2019 on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. The ACT! Course is a rigorous discipleship course focused on essential doctrines of the Christian orthodoxy, grounded in a theology of Christian love, and intended to foster life application. Past participants have described the course as "the most powerful experience of their lives" as they explore fresh perspectives on Christian doctrine and are challenged to love God and their neighbors with passion and consistency.

Apart from the Bible, the primary study text of the ACT! Course is the Rev. Dr. Michael Lloyd's Cafe Theology. Dr. Lloyd is Principal of Wycliffe Hall, a permanent private hall of the University of Oxford (Oxford, UK). The course is grounded in the "love theology" of the late Rev. Leonard Evans, who led a revival at Pleasant Valley Church (Niles, Ohio) in the 1980s. Together, Lloyd and Evans provdie a unique blend of theological faithfulness to orthodoxy and the breath of life-giving love.

The ACT! Course is open to anyone who wants to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. The course is free of charge.

The schedule for the 2018-2019 ACT! Course is as follows:
